The Good I like very much the fact about Samsung that they make maximum utilization of 720p resolution and do not integrate 1080p just to make the TVs more costly. The 42inch screen size of Samsung PN42B450 makes it more relevant to use 720p resolution instead of 1080p resolution. I have seen several 42 inch plasma TVs but this one appeared to be more appealing to me in terms of its superb picture quality. Unless the size of the TV is more than 50 inches, there virtually no use of incorporating 1080p resolution over 720p, the difference is hardly noticeable.

The picture quality of this TV is simply superb; colors are vibrant, rich and true. Contrast and resolution response is exceptional indeed, and avid gamers and fast action movie fans wont have any problems with ghosting or motion blurring. As is the case with virtually all plasma televisions, the TV displays black, white and gray shades of color perfectly.

Whatever your peripheral device requirement is, the TV comes with ports for proper connectivity. There is PC and USB port that allows direct viewing of videos and images from your PC. Even the quality of sound is immaculate and the design and durability of the remote control is perfect. The remote is quick to respond to recognize and configure almost any outer peripheral.

The bad I havent found any such thing in the TV that I can term as its limitation. Though, plenty of heat is generated, but it is a common fact among the Plasma TVs. As the television is quite heavy and good care is needed, it is better to go with wall mounting. As this one is Plasma, lot of electricity will be consumed.

The ugly Perhaps, the worst thing would be my extreme bad feeling that I am not a owner of Samsung PN42B450.
