Some time ago I thought of downloading some movies to watch during the summer rerun season. So, I began looking for the best deal I could find.

I had thought of the movie rental places, but their stock is by nature limited to what is most popular. And their prices are not so cheap either. My tastes are somewhat different and what I am looking for is rarely stocked.

My ideas about entertaining movies are more along the lines of movies made many years ago - musicals, mysteries, comedies.

Strange isn’t it how for so many years comedians could tell jokes for hours - and receive standing ovations - without uttering a single curse word and without the inference that one person is somehow inferior to another.

It is certain that those days were not perfect but families could always find very entertaining movies to watch together without risk of being offended or denigrated.

Times have changed! If you are able to watch five or ten minutes of a movie without hearing even one curse word or seeing someone’s naked butt on the screen, consider yourself very fortunate. As for me, I do not appreciate that nonsense. I have been around longer than the usual movie goer and I have heard and used all those words and I know what they mean. So hearing them from someone else does not thrill me. Also, I have seen my own butt in the mirror often enough that I am now readily able to recognize one when I see it. I therefore have no need to look at one belonging to someone else.

Think of how surprised and happy I was to find a site offering unlimited downloading of more than 80 million DVD quality movies. As with everything in life the service comes with a cost. However the cost is a one time fee of less than $40 to be able to download as many titles as you wish for as long as you wish. Think of how many rentals you would get for just $40. You also no longer need to concern yourself with lousy weather when you want to watch a movie.

This site has a fine selection of movies! Both old and very recent movies are available; many of the movies I found were ones I had watched with my parents as a child. They provided me with some very pleasant memories.

The site provides you with access to hundreds of millions of movies, music, videos and games. You can download full CDs from some of the sites. There are downloads for Mac users too. You can even find downloads for MP3 players and other portable devices. I think if you can’t find something at this site that you will enjoy, it probably does not exist.
