For an equestrian, it is always a good time to go horseback riding, but there are horse stalls to keep clean before the fun can begin. In unison, the riders rein their mounts in the direction of the woods, and moments later they grab for leather as the horses spook at the dark opening to a cave. Everyone laughs and there are cheers and shouts as the horses settle down and get back on the trail.
A couple of hours of breathing fresh air, and the wonderful smell of decaying leaves in the forest, a couple of picnic tables appear in a clearing, with a fire pit close by for cooking out. There are hitch posts provided for tying the mounts, while others take tethers from their saddle bags and stake out their mounts for some grass to munch.
The saddle club did a lot of searching to find this particular park, it has a waterfall just around the bend with a catch pool half the size of a soccer field. Having finished the cook out and tasty marshmallows, all riders mount up without saddles. This ride is for the horses who like to swim. Off they go at a gallop to splash under the waterfall, where the riders hold on tight to mane or tail as the horses swim enjoy themselves.
