The Leading Man, British backstage show romance in regards to an American film superstar who seduces a playwright’s lonely wife and his leading-woman mistress. When it might not make up its mind whether it is a comedy tirade or a light thriller, it is still very hilarious stuff. Bon Jovi is excellent as the foolhardy, immoral Yankee, and Galiena and Newton are enticing as the females trapped in his web. Cast includes Jon Bon Jovi, Anna Galiena, Lambert Wilson, Thandie Newton, Barry Humphries, and David Warner.
