There have been plenty of alien invasion movies made in the last fifty years or so. Many people will argue that they are largely a metaphor to explore our collective fears of mutual nuclear destruction. But as we move towards a world free from the fear of indiscriminate atomic bombings, can these metaphors still pack the same entertainment punch? The remake of a classic, “The Day The Earth Stood Still,” proves the answer is a resounding “yes.”

It’s well notorious that many of the science fiction, extraterrestrial assault type movies in the fifties and sixties were similes for the ever escalating and overhanging threat of utter devastation due to nuclear war. The original film addressed this openly, as the invading aliens came to give Earthlings a forewarning to either stop skirmishing or face the rage of the aliens. Genuine to the original, the aliens came as representatives of a planetary alliance of sorts. But the Earthlings were in danger of not being incorporated owing to their iniquitous habits. In the original movie, the dreadful habits were warfare and nuclear stockpiling. In the remake, the iniquitous habits are environmental maltreatment of our own world.

This is a story thats best enjoyed alone. This guy called Jake Tyler played a vital role in making his high-school team win in a match; however, he is also the one who spoilt the festive mood of the winners by picking up a brawl with lost team. It was a reaction initiated by a player from the opponent, who took advantage of Jakes infamous ire and taunted him on his fathers untimely death due to drunken driving. Till this, it was normal; trouble showed its ugly face when all that wrangling got videotaped and uploaded to YouTube. As a result, Jake lost his position in the team.

G-Force movie, is a family flick written by Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, the husband and wife team who have delivered many hits like National Treasure, Bad Boys II etc. This movie will definitely be a hit with the kiddies and the grown-ups too. The difficult part might be to get the kids to give up the idea of keeping rodents as pets after watching this movie.

A mole and three guinea pigs are trained to speak like humans through some devices that are fitted in them. They form the G-squad and are trained spies. Ben, (Zack Galifianakis) a scientist who works for the government on the low level trains them. He also specializes in training insects to carry in to small spaces, tiny cameras and is considered to be the lord of the flies.
