It was in 1929 when the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science first started the Oscars. Within a few years, the awards had grown so large and popular that in 1935, the balloting system had to be subcontracted to the PricewaterhouseCoopers company which has been in charge of it ever since. I have put together a sampling of movie hits for 2008. This list consists of the movies I enjoyed watching this year. I hope you find some films here that are good viewing.

ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott), who promote an energy drink, might be seeing some hard jail time after destroying the company vehicle while binging. The only way to avoid being locked up is to perform 150 hours of community service. Their task will be to mentor troubled kids in a big brother type situation. The pieces are all in place for this to be very funny.
