Analogue TV normally is able to display those standard-definition programs coming from broadcasting companies like those on regular TV, satellite transmissions, standard cable, and Freeview. It doesn’t have the ability to do progressive-scan DVD or HDTV. On the other hand, digital television derives images they display from Freeview broadcasts using an internal digital tuner. An HDTV, meanwhile, delivers all the attributes of analogue and digital.
